The
characteristics of the thermostat wax lies in the
face that when it is heated and becomes liquid it
expands up to 13%~15%.By this,it can turn heat
energy into mechanical energy in a solid-liquid
phase and can be used in various thermostats of
automatic temperature control devices.
For the
most commonly uses is an automobile temperature
regulator in which a certain amount of thermostat
wax is filled in the cylindrical sealed parts. It
is designed in specific solid-liquid phase
conversion of the thermostat wax.When the
cylindrical parts are heated, the themostat wax in
the components expands pushing the push rod of the
regulator to a start at the valve. When it cools,
the thermostat wax contracts and pushes back the
push rod by back spring force, closing the valve
.Thus. the automatic control of the temperature is
done.
